Watershed on Peachtree is an award-winning restaurant in the heart of the historic Brookwood Hills neighborhood. Watershed serves local, seasonal, soulful dishes inspired by Southern tradition and prepared with present day artistry.
After pioneering the farm-to-table movement in Atlanta and earning a James Beard Award in the process, Watershed has long been regarded as an Atlanta “institution” and one of the top restaurants in the city. Owners Emily Saliers (of the Grammy winning Indigo Girls) and Ross Jones maintain their thoughtful approach to food and wine.
Watershed serves world-class food without the world-class attitude. It attracts sophisticated diners who are passionate about food and wine as well those who simply desire a comfortable place to have a delicious meal. Our menu is hyper-seasonal and reflects only the best of what is available during each season. You won’t find tomatoes on the menu in the winter, only in the summer when tomatoes are at their peak of flavor. We focus on locally grown ingredients and work directly with local farmers. Sourcing locally and regionally is an integral part of our commitment to support the community in which we do business. We believe in using organic ingredients and responsibly raised animal and seafood products. We believe in a hands-on approach. As much as possible we make everything from scratch, even our mayonnaise. Everything is made fresh everyday with the best ingredients. From the bar we feature unique, boutique and fine wines. We create specialty cocktails with small batch spirits and focus on craft breweries. We believe the best tasting wine is served in a proper glass and at the proper temperature. We believe the best dining experience begins and ends with a welcoming, friendly team. Everyone is welcomed at Watershed.
